Lady Gaga is the hottest thing this New Year
Lady GaGa seems to be New Year's hottest ticket, with her scheduled performance at the Fontainebleau in Miami having sold over 1 million dollars in ticket sales.
The Poker Face singer is said to be getting about 300,000 dollars for the show.
Based on sales through Web site NewYearsEve.com, tickets for the singers performance to ring in 2010 are almost non-existent, with only a few 25,000-dollar tables left and some general admission seats at 425 dollars.
"I'm in awe of the fact that Lady Gaga will make the Fontainebleau the hottest ticket in America on New Year's Eve," the New York Post quoted Andrew Fox, the site's founder, as saying.
Lady GaGa goes futuristic for s-e-x-y new photographs
No one could ever accuse Lady GaGa of being the shy retiring type.
Being something of an attention-seeker has certainly stood the singer in good stead for her meteoric rise to fame this year.
So what better way to wrap up her successful 12 months than by taking her clothes off again - all in the name of art, of course.
The singer was snapped by acclaimed photographer David LaChapelle for a series of images that perfectly match her bizarre, sexy and outrageous personality.
And she even managed to persuade good friend Kanye West to take part, although he probably had no complaints.
Completely naked, GaGa lies in his arms with one hand covering her breast, as he stares zombie-like into the distance as a volcano rages behind them.
In what could be a subtle nod towards one of cinema's most iconic film posters, Gaga also goes futuristic Metropolis-style as she stands on crutches over sleeping naked people, dressed in an android-esque two-piece with matching helmet and arms.
In another, she lies as though fallen from the wheelchair, on a mirrored floor in a doll-like pose, with pink afro hair surrounded by pink flowers and a blue sky.

And of course, we all know that Lady GaGa is no wallflower and no photo shoot would be complete with just one naked picture.
In what could be a subtle dig at the world's press, the singer stares provocatively at the camera as newspaper headlines that scream scandal cover her modesty.
And in the last shot, New York-born GaGa, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, is in her birthday suit once again, strapped to a generator as electricity shoots out of her hands, head and nether regions.
The shots feature in the super deluxe limited edition of her new album The Fame Monster which contains all the original tracks from her debut CD The Fame, plus eight new ones.
Not only does it come with a booklet containing these amazing pictures, but giving fans a very unusual and very weird treat, she has also included a lock of her hair.

Las Vegas Lady Gaga
New techno popera queen Lady Gaga rocked The Pearl in the Palms for a second night, and again it was a sold-out performance of 2,500 frenzied fans, with hundreds more waiting in the casino in hopes of securing a ticket. There is no doubt that Lady Gaga is one of the hottest acts in the music business and up there at the top.
Unlike Thursday’s first show, Lady Gaga permitted leading lens lady Denise Truscello access for these four new concert photos. Palms owner George Maloof even posed with the diva this time around! Our colleague photographer Justin M. Bowen of the Las Vegas Sun also shot a photo gallery from last night’s performance.
George has been running her hit “Poker Face” as part of a new Palms advertising campaign on TV and the Internet. “We've never had a response like this to the spots in the eight-plus years we have been open,” he told me.
Vegas DeLuxe also covered Lady Gaga’s Thursday concert at The Pearl, and our Las Vegas Weekly colleague Joe Brown reviewed that concert. Lady Gaga said her two Las Vegas shows were the best of the Monster Ball Tour and that she’s looking forward to returning to Sin City for more shows.
“It’s hard to believe, but her second show was even more exciting than the first!" George said.
Kid Cudi, the rapper who departed from the tour last minute on Thursday morning, nonetheless hosted his party last night at Tao and Lavo in the sister Venetian and Palazzo, respectively. We’ll post that report with photos on Monday.

Lady Gaga and producer wants to shock all of us!
Lady Gaga and RedOne definitely have a good partnership going. The singer and the songwriter/producer collaborated on some of the biggest tracks of the year, earning five Grammy nominations this week.
And, RedOne says that their musical chemistry together was pretty immediate. "To be honest, Lady Gaga was always Lady Gaga," RedOne told MTV News about the electropop chanteuse, who gave her fans credit for her Grammy nods. "From the first day I met her she was that Lady Gaga, before she had a deal or anything. I always felt like she was a star from the first day."
Gaga, who recently released eight darker, edgier new songs on The Fame Monster, has always seemed to know what she wants, but she's managed to keep everyone else guessing what her next artistic move will be. "She has a vision already in her head, and you just have to meet her, 'cause she's talented and she doesn't need any directions from anybody," he said, crediting that resolve with their good working relationship. "It was a perfect match. When we went into the studio, it was just natural."
And as Gaga's rapidly gone from relative obscurity to worldwide fame, RedOne said she hasn't changed. Working with her now is exactly the same as in their early days together. "No, she didn't change. I felt like she's big. She's a superstar now, really superstar," he said, adding that in the studio it's "just natural easy fun, no over-thinking."
As for what the two will do next, RedOne isn't sharing. He wants to make sure no one ever knows what they will do next. "That I don't want to say because you always want to shock people," he explained. "And you don't want to let people know, so that when they hear it, [they go], 'Oh my God.' "

Lady Gaga Celebrates Grammy Noms by going pantsless

This year's Grammy Awards would be nothing without the Her Royal Pantlessness, Lady GaGa, who was almost knocked out of the race because of silly old Grammy procedures. But even the rigid committee of irrelevant olds who hand out the annual music trophies couldn't help but bow down to Gags, as she was nominated for a whopping five awards at the prestigious ceremony.
At her Boston Concert on Wednesday evening, the singer delayed hitting the stage for 1.5 hrs to find out whether or not she was nominated. But it was worth it, because when she took the stage, she was on fire, saying to the crowd, "Thank you to all of you little monsters. This year, you were nominated for five Grammy Awards." Then, rather than dropping her ass to the floor, she spit out a booming F-Bomb to the delight of the packed dome. Aww....the sound of monsters in harmony!
